Alaşehir Belediyesi, Alaşehir Meslek Yüksekokulu ve Uluderbent Ortaokulu iş birliğiyle düzenlenen “Birlikte Güzeliz 6” resim sergisi, Cumhuriyet ve Demokrasi Meydanı’nda kapılarını açtı. “Türkiye Akreplerinin Sanatsal Yorumları” temasıyla hazırlanan sergide, Türkiye’nin 81 ilinden gelen 160 eser sanatseverlerle buluştu. Prof. Dr. Ersen Aydın Yağmur’un bilimsel verileri ve Küratör Sevda Eren’in organizasyonuyla hayata geçen proje, ekosistemin önemli bir parçası olan akrepleri sanatın renkli dünyasıyla buluşturarak korkulan bir unsur olmaktan çıkarmayı ve doğaya yönelik farkındalık yaratmayı amaçladı. Açılışa Alaşehir Belediye Başkanı Ahmet Öküzcüoğlu, akademisyenler, öğrenciler ve çok sayıda vatandaş katıldı.
Philadelphia Kazı Ekibi ile Tarihe Yolculuk
Etkinlik kapsamında sergi heyecanının yanı sıra, Alaşehir’in köklü geçmişine de ışık tutuldu. Philadelphia kazı ekibi rehberliğinde düzenlenen özel bir programla, ilçenin benzersiz ören yerleri ve tarihi dokusu ziyaretçilere tanıtıldı.Katılımcılar, antik dönemin önemli merkezlerinden biri olan Philadelphia’nın tarihsel derinliğini yerinde inceleme fırsatı buldu. Böylece bilim ve sanatın bir araya geldiği bu özel gün, Alaşehir'in kültürel mirası ve tarihi zenginliklerinin gezilmesiyle tam bir kültür şölenine dönüştü.

Organized in collaboration with Alaşehir Municipality, Alaşehir Vocational School, and Uluderbent Secondary School, the "We Are Beautiful Together 6" art exhibition opened its doors at the Republic and Democracy Square. Prepared with the theme "Artistic Interpretations of Turkey's Scorpions," the exhibition brought 160 works from Turkey's 81 provinces together with art lovers. Brought to life with the scientific data of Prof. Dr. Ersen Aydın Yağmur and the organization of Curator Sevda Eren, the project aimed to remove scorpions—an important part of the ecosystem—from being a feared element and to raise awareness about nature by bringing them together with the colorful world of art. Alaşehir Mayor Ahmet Öküzcüoğlu, academics, students, and many citizens attended the opening.
A Journey into History with the Philadelphia Excavation Team
As part of the event, in addition to the excitement of the exhibition, light was shed on Alaşehir's deep-rooted past. Through a special program organized under the guidance of the Philadelphia excavation team, the district's unique ruins and historical texture were introduced to the visitors. Participants had the opportunity to examine on-site the historical depth of Philadelphia, one of the important centers of the ancient period. Thus, this special day, where science and art came together, turned into a complete cultural feast with the touring of Alaşehir's cultural heritage and historical riches.
