Gözetleme Kulesi
Toptepe’deki tapınağa çıkan yamaç üzerinde konumlanan bu yapı, kent surlarından bağımsız, stratejik bir gözetleme kulesidir. Akropolü (Yukarı Şehir) korumak amacıyla inşa edilen kule, Philadelphia’nın şehri çevreleyen 8 kilometrelik devasa sur duvarlarını ve 7 ana kapıyı tepeden gören konumuyla, savunma sisteminin en kritik noktalarından birini oluşturur.
Watchtower
Situated on the slope leading toward the temple at Toptepe, this structure is a strategic watchtower designed independently from the city walls. Built to protect the Acropolis (Upper City), the tower serves as one of the most critical elements of the defensive network, providing an elevated vantage point that overlooks Philadelphia’s vast 8-kilometer fortification walls and its seven main gates.
